Product Refinement

What is a product refinement? The act of breaking down, updating, establishing details, estimating and prioritizing items in the Product Backlog.

When does Product Refinement take place? This is a on-going continuous process to add details, descriptions, order and size or estimate work. As new work and more details are provided to the product owner, it’s important to keep the backlog refined.

Who is responsible? Scrum Team
What does it mean to make sure you keep your backlog DEEP? Detailed appropriately; Estimated; Emergent and Prioritized.

How do teams determine story card points/efforts? T-shirt size and Poker cards activities are used by teams for complexity.
